Street art tour Barcelona
Street art tour Barcelona
Art lovers' team
Our street art tour in Barcelona is led by local freelance professionals who share their passion for the graffiti culture. Urban landscape photographers, young educators, contemporary art artists and street art investigators are part of Cooltourspain's team. We are of those lucky people who can say "it started as a hobby, we now make from it a way of living".
Cooltourspain's graffiti tour does not only support local communities and activist groups, but it also offers the tourisitic circuit a cultural & social approach which shows the current problems of the Catalan & Spanish societies: politically, migration related issues, gentrification... How are we dealing with those situations? Let the graffiti walls speak on their own!
We are mastered and committed to showing Spain to fellow travellers in a completely different way. Our cultural project focus on Born, Gotic and Poble Nou districts, which are probably considered as Barcelona's most touristic and off the beaten districts. Once the walking or bike tour finishes, we'll give you personal recommendations on what bars/shops do locals visit. Check them out!
Our street art tour Barcelona is led for a minimum of 4 people during the weekend, and just one during the weekdays. We also set and a maximum of 15 people per group leader/activity, so that can you enjoy in not a crowded way. Cooltourspain's experiences are totally accessible for wheelchairs/pushchairs, and electric bikes might be also hired. We will adjust to your requirements if a private request is submitted. Children under 6 years old do not pay.
An approximate 90% of our guests do come from other European countries or overseas (couples from Israel, American universities and French/Belgian groups of friends). The majority of them are women, between 25 and 45 years old, interested in the no-frills local culture. That's the reason why the street art tour Barcelona is run in English language, but we do speak Spanish, French, German and Dutch. Do you require a private tour in any of those languages? We provide educational experiences for school groups who are visiting Spain and Catalunya to immerse in the Mediterranean lifestyle.
