The story about us. How did we start?
Cooltourspain was created by Javier in 2016 to provide a cultural, social, and educational opportunity to approach the street art and graffiti industries in Madrid. Later, he moved to Blanes, Girona, in 2019. This beautiful coastal city has turned into the business' remote office, and that's the reason why he now offers street art tours in Barcelona. He first curated a street art tour in Lavapiés (Madrid) and the number of services has continuously grown since then. Over 3,000 guests per year have already participated at any of our city walking tours & graffiti workshops. Despite the several barriers he encountered on the way, Cooltourspain has now launched a sustainable and responsible approach to contribute to the local art community around the Costa Brava and other cities in Catalunya.
What's Cooltourspain's mission?
We strive to become the alternative city tour provider in Barcelona and the rest of Catalunya, specially the Costa Brava area: Blanes, Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar. Cooltourspain started its street art tours in Barcelona with the goal of decentralizing the number of cultural experiences within Catalunya's capital city. Do you think we achieved it? In this new adventure we count with previous partnerships with hotels/hostels, online distribuitors and public organizations for the development of our graffiti tours. It is our goal to curate and create events that let our participants discover & explore a different, alternative and off the beaten part of the city. We love our job and it's a pleasure hosting these experiences.
